Our web site has become extremely popular, getting over a
thousand page hits per day and GROWING. The internet surfers are asking for local
information, which we are passing on to the businesses that support us.
For instance, during February 2002 we sent out over 400 requests for vacation rental home
information and nearly 100 Real estate sales information requests. The
fishing charter captains are receiving approximately 30 leads per week and places to stay
such as hotels; motels and campgrounds are sharing 120 leads per month.In the past we have maintained the site for free but this
enormous amount of traffic growth has created so much time consuming work, replying to all
the emails (as many as 100 per day!) or forwarding leads, that it has now become necessary
to employ a person full time exclusively on the website.
We regularly get telephone calls and emails asking us to recommend homebuilders, plumbers,
lot clearing etc. In the past we have given them the full list. In the
future we will only be able to send them the information of those businesses supporting
the web site. |

During the month of March we are
concentrating on promoting area businesses and getting pages and promotional text block
ready. You are probably very busy now and maybe this is because of our
promotion of the local area on the internet over the last three years. we are
told that all the vacation rental homes are getting near to being booked out already and
we can look forward to a very busy year.
We have kept our charges as low as
possible. So low, in fact, that you can be represented on the site for as
little as $80 per year for a six line boxed entry. Please support us so we can
continue to support you and help to keep you busy down the road.
When you check out our pages (Seafood Page) you may find
that some of your business information is already on the web site but we need to make the
descriptions more comprehensive. Whether you need just a boxed six-line entry
- a web page or a full-blown web site, we will be pleased to provide you with our best
